Dead Realm is this undefinable place where The Souls Of The Dead make a short stop before going... to wherever they go. However, there are exceptions and some stay there for longer. We (j-master and I) are just acting as journalists trying to report what is going on over there.

Keep in mind that Dead Realm is an extremely inhospitable land, making our mission a perilous one. It is to be remarked that Dead Realm was once sealed and completely isolated from earth's reality. It is not so anymore. Its discovery by the masses would be nothing but a disaster for humanity, as it would reveal this leak to its inhabitants.
